Admit it even if you loath Alabama(and a lot of people do) you watched the Chik-a-flia kickoff classic the last two years. It was a well hyped and highly publicized "Bowl Atmosphere" game to start the season. It was also the most highly rated game of the opening weekend both years. The common factor in both those games Alabama. That in combination with going 26-2 with a National Championship over the last two years has made Alabama a hot commodity. Three cities have already publicly displayed interest in having the Crimson Tide play a neutral site game in 2012. It seems inevitable that the Tide will play a game in Dallas, Atlanta, or Jacksonville in the next two years the only real question is which opponent. So with that in mind here are five opponents for the Crimson Tide to face in 2012.Related posts
If the Big 10/11 wants a war to determine who will have the greatest conference and TV deal, then I say give it to them.
At this point in time, it has become a forgone conclusion that the Big 10 is going to expand. Regardless as to which how many teams it takes, this is nothing more than an attempt to unseat the SEC as the premier conference in college football.
When a threat is inevitable and a war is unavoidable, then it is in the best interest of the threatened party to act first.
This is why SEC commissioner Mike Slive has already publicly stated that the SEC will be proactive in expansion.
However, being proactive is not enough.
The SEC needs to unleash a preemptive strike that will not only counteract the Big 10, but also weaken other conferences who hope to take on the "King of Football."
In order to successfully pull off the greatest offensive attack by a conference since 1992, one needs to be a visionary.
If I were Mike Slive, I would gauge the interest of Texas and Oklahoma, which of course this means Ok St and A&M too, but I would also have a more devious plan in mind.
Instead of trying to negotiate with Texas and Oklahoma, which will almost assuredly demand that their in-state rivals accompany them, why not create a Texas and Oklahoma of your own.
I know what you are thinking, and although I am crazy, I'm not that crazy.
The SEC should take TCU and Houston to add to the western division in the SEC.
Houston, obviously, brings in the Houston TV market as well as a strong tradition of being a competitive team, and TCU has tradition galore and the Dallas/Ft Worth TV market.
This would be a win-win for all parties involved.
Houston and TCU would jump at the opportunity to join the SEC for the TV exposure and the money. Not only that, but the SEC wants to be in the mind of Texas recruits and viewers.
By acquiring these two schools, the SEC would increase their exposure and popularity in the state of Texas.
Now TCU and Houston might not be very competitive in SEC at first, but within five years, they would surpass Arkansas, Ole Miss, Miss St, Kentucky, and Vandy.
These two schools could be the next big time programs to emerge in college football with the right resources and guidance.
Now as far Oklahoma, there is no major media market in Oklahoma worth going after, certainly not one greater than Houston or Dallas.
Also I like the Sooners, but they have being winning off recruits from the state of Texas forever, and there is not that much talent in Oklahoma as in to comparison of Texas.
The matter of expanding the east is simple: Take two teams with strong fanbases, rich tradition, and a good TV market.
In other words take Va. Tech and Fl State. It would be the ultimate death blow to the ACC, and one last laugh at Clemson and Ga. Tech for leaving the SEC for a basketball conference.
Think about the ACC would go back to being strictly a basketball league without Florida State and Virginia Tech. The conference has only had one National Title game appearance and that was by Va. Tech, who lost to the Seminoles, who where still in the Big East at the time.
The Conference would be left with Miami as its flag bearer, and that might not last long if the Big East where looking to salvage their conference to fend off an attack from the North.
So, in a sense, the SEC could weaken three of the conferences that it may see as a threat, while strengthen their own and making more money.
It is win all the way around.
Yet, in all likely hood, Miami and Florida St might be a package deal, and Houston and TCU may be to risky for the SEC take.
But I still believe that this plan would cement the SEC as the Supreme Ruler of division football for decades.
As always, thanks for the read and feel free to tell me how crazy and insane I am or just agree with me. Thank you and have a great day!

I was having a conversation at lunch the other day with a friend. When suddenly we saw a person run into a parked car. I emphasize run into because he was running at the time and talking on the cell phone.
My friend then said "You know it should be legal to slap stupid people", and thus an idea was born.
At first we talked about the various politicians that we would love to get or hands on, the people we work with, family members, but finally the conversation turned to sports.
Immediately we both said we would love to slap the same CFB analyst. I have asked around and it seems that the same people keep coming up when I have asked "Who in CFB needs to be Slapped".
Obviously the list of coaches and players who need to be slapped would be far too vast to every actually be able to write in an article so I will simple state the five Analyst/Writers who deserve it the most.
No. 5 Paul Finebaum
Some of you may have no idea who I am talking about, but for those of you who live in the South Eastern region of the United States this one is for you. All in all his interviews are quite entertaining and mostly informative. However his frequent callers and weekly columns are enough to make people play in traffic.
Paul is what he is however and that is a Shock Jock sports radio talk show host. Still most normal fans always feel dumber after listening to his show. In the grand scheme of things his show would be great if he would slap most of his frequent callers.
On a personal note I would like to plead with anyone in an authority position who happens to read this article. Please bring Paul up on charges for crimes against humanity if he continues to allow Charles from Real Town to call in.
No. 4 Phil Fulmer
Do I really need to explain why this man should be slapped? Not only is he let's just say not smart but is arrogant, annoying, and provides no real insight on anything. I do not doubt that he has a vast understanding and knowledge of college football, but as an analyst all he does is state the obvious.
Plus he is PHIL FULMER! Just slap him PLEASE!
No. 3 Jessie Palmer
I like Jessie for the most part. His analysis is nothing to get excited about but it is not bland either. He play's a role on College Football Live and plays it well. The sole reason he is on this list is the same reason he is number three. He was The Bachelor!
The show was as retarded as that smirk he always has and that alone is enough to make most people want to slap him silly.
No. 2 Todd McShay
Mel Kipper is a brilliant analyst who is at the top of his chosen profession. He provides keen insight and analysis to how NFL organizations work, evaluate, and draft to their needs. I enjoy watching him and reading his blogs and articles.
I think it is a crime that he is pared with Todd McShay whose only real insight is that by disagreeing with Mel Kipper he can make money. Todd McShay is wrong 60 percent of the time about prospects and the only reason he is right 40 percent of the time is because it is obvious.
To make matters worse his attitude and personality scream prick! He is by far the most overpaid and worthless person employed by ESPN. If some slaps him I would pay money to see it, and I personally believe that one day he will say something so stupid that Mel Kipper will just lose it and slap him. Oh how I long for that day!
No. 1 Lou Holtz
I would like to retract the statement that Todd Mcshay is the most worthless and overpaid person by ESPN. That honor belongs to Lou Holtz. My wife who could care less about football even realizes that this man knows nothing about College Football today.
He is an idiot. There is no nice way to say it the man should be institutionalized if he believes half the things he say's are accurate. HE PREDICTED NOTRE DAME WOULD LOSE TO FLORIDA IN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP LAST YEAR. To make matters worse he believed it would happen.
To add gas to the fire the act that he is a lovable old grandpa figure is a joke. I watched Lou Holtz coach and the man was a mean spirited old cuss who was focused on winning. There is nothing wrong with that, but don't pretend like it never happened. If he has changed good, but the fact remains he was not the nice grandpa like figure that he claims to have always been.
None of these reasons even compare to why he is No. 1 on this list. I can tolerate the bias he has towards Notre Dame, and how he loves them so much. I can tolerate his ridiculous predictions, and inconsistent facts. To some extent his fake persona can even be excused, but no one can excuse his segment Dr. Lou.
This man should never be referred to as Dr. ever! He is an idiot and the segment is a waste of time that would be better served as commercials. Please ESPN fire this man. Every time he opens his mouth your company loses credibility, and there is no doubt in my mind that Mark May will one day kill him on College Football Final. There is only so much stupidity that any man can take.
So there are the five Analyst/Writers that I believe deserve to be slapped the most in CFB. If you believe I am wrong or that I left off a more deserving candidate please leave a comment and let me know.

The Stones said it best: "You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you just might find. You get what you need." It is not the prettiest class of the Nick Saban Era, but none the less it is a very significant one.
In a year when as many as seven defensive backfield players with experience are leaving, necessity overtakes desire. This can also been seen in the signing of eight linemen, four on the defensive front and four more on the offensive side.
Having to sign a punter and a kicker are never easy pills to swallow when you might want to take a five-star safety and his QB brother. That is the burden of having to replace needs.
Still, even with the need to fill holes, Alabama managed to land a consensus top-five recruiting class for the third year in a row. That is a feat that has only been duplicated by the likes of Florida and USC.
To say that this class is less than stellar would be an insult to Alabama, the coaches, but most importantly the players. This may not be the No. 1 class in Alabama history but it is in the top 10 and these players will win a title before they leave the Capstone.
Here is a look at 10 players and what they may contribute over the next 3-5 years on the Capstone.
Phillip Sims: The 6'2" quarterback from Chesapeake, VA is considered by many to be the top quarterback prospect in the country. He has the size and frame to be an NFL caliber talent, and will have the time to hone his skills waiting behind AJ and Greg. He is the most significant player in this class, not because of his remarkable talent but because Alabama took him out of ACC, Big East, and Big Ten country.
Prediction: Sims will sit behind Greg and will battle it out with AJ for the 2011 starting job. After losing to AJ, he will gain the role his junior year, and will lead the Tide to an SEC title game before his departure to the NFL. Where he will be a second-round selection.
DeMarcus Milliner: This is one of those rare occasions where what you want is what you need. DeMarcus is a special talent and has the size and speed to cover any caliber receiver. He shined at the UA All-American game, and has the skills to contribute on defense and special teams immediately.
Prediction: Will start alongside Gasden star Dre Kirkpatrick for the 2010 season. After becoming a consensus All-American in his sophomore year he will lead a junior campaign that will see him receive consideration for the Heisman. He will leave Alabama after his junior year when he receives a first-round grade from the draft advisory board.
John Fulton: John may be the best recruit in the nation. He has the skills, smarts, and ability to develop into a shutdown corner or a ball hawking safety. If that is not enough to wet your whistle, he is a class act. The son of a Sgt. Major and veteran of the U.S. Army. He will feel right at home with Nick Saban and the DBs.
Prediction: John will play a reserve this year and will develop into an excellent corner. In 3 years he will be a starter and an All-American. His senior year, he will help lead the Crimson Tide to the SEC Title. He will be estimated to be a third-round pick but his performance in the Senior Bowl and his character will have him being selected in the top of the second-round.
C.J. Mosley: C.J. is a talent that is just waiting to explode. He still has some growing to do and fill out his frame just a little bit, and that is why he will redshirt. He has the smarts and attitude to be a huge presence in the front seven at Alabama. He is not Rolando McClain but compares well to a DeMeco Ryans.
Prediction: C.J. will redshirt his first year because he will be behind too much talent with more knowledge and experience. In his second year he will play a medium role in the rotation and contribute well. His third and fourth years will be potential All-SEC seasons and lead him to opt out for the draft where he will be taken in the second round.
Keiwone Malone: There is a reason why Saban broke through the mythical fence around Memphis and Malone is why. Malone has deceptive speed and has hands like crazy glue. Look for Keiwone Malone to be a taller version of Maze and provide the deep play threat every time he steps on the field. He may not be a starter at first but he will find a spot in the rotation.
Prediction: Malone will be like most Alabama receivers and have a limited keep-the-defense-honest role at first. Down the road, with QBs like AJ and Phillip taking over the reins, look for him and other Alabama receivers to make some serious noise. He may never make an All-American list but he will be mid-round draft choice by the time he leaves T-Town.
Brian Volger: Nick Saban loves the tight end position and teaches his quarterbacks to love it as well. Brian is a massive 6'7", 248 pounds and can hold his own blocking but still get open down the field as well. Alabama has some talented TEs already but look for Brian to see some playing time this fall.
Prediction: Brian will be one of the few freshmen to play immediately and will contribute well as a safety valve for Greg. He will develop well and will become a very reliable option for the QBs in Tuscaloosa to look for over the next four years. Brain will go in the fourth round of the draft after playing in the Senior Bowl.
Blake Sims: For those of you who have never seen film on Blake Sims, go look at some now. This guy is a football player and an athlete. He could line up at WR, CB, QB, or HB and start at any other school. He is the kind of player that just makes explosive plays happen all the time. Look for him to contribute early as the return man for Alabama this fall, and take some snaps as the Wildcat QB.
Prediction: Sims is a Percy Harvin/Reggie Bush type player but without all the baggage. He will see significant and immediate playing time and will, at some time in his three year career, receive an invite to NY, NY. Sims will be a mid-first-round selection after an impressive combine and great junior year.
DeAndrew White: This Texan will enjoy his time with Alabama much more than his orange wearing brethren, and will probably redshirt this year. White is fast, as in one of top-10 fastest people in Texas fast. Just for info, Texas has a population of over 25 million. He will eventually find his way into a starting WR spot and contribute well during his career at the Capstone.
Prediction: White will not receive many accolades but will help Alabama win a championship ring with a strong work ethic. This work ethic and his natural abilities will make him a steal for some team in the NFL draft. Do not be surprised if he turns out to be an All-American talent at the Capstone; he has fantastic hands.
Alfy Hill: Alabama has a very talented and physical defensive front, but speed off the edge has always been a problem. Alfy is the solution to that problem. He is built like a linebacker but has the hands and strength of a defensive end. Look for Alfy to compete for playing time either at the end or Jack position. Alfy is the type of player who will flourish under Sal Sunseri and Nick Saban.
Prediction: Although he will redshirt his first year, Alfy will be one of the players who will benefit most from the Fourth Quarter Conditioning program. After a year of learning the system and bulking up, look for him to explode on the scene. Alfy has the potential to be consensus All-American good and a first-round draft selection.
Brandon Ivory: Nick Saban has an ability to find athletic big men to fit his 3-4 system and Brandon is that man. A football and basketball player that is a massive 6'3", 330 pounds. He may not be Mt. Cody but he will be a force in the middle of the Alabama defensive front.
Prediction: Look for Brandon to rotate out with Josh Chapman at nose guard for the next three years. Finally attaining the starting job his senior year and fulfilling his role nicely. He may not be a first or second-round talent but he is a perfect fit for the 3-4 system at Alabama and will find a fit in the NFL.
These are not the 10 highest rated players or by any means the only ones that will go to the NFL, even if they do. They are merely 10 of the players that I think have the best chance to succeed and flourish in Nick Saban's system.
This is the future at Alabama and with these players and their comrades developing to their potential, Bama will continue to win championships for a long time to come.

If four days ago someone showed you this picture and said “A coach in this photo will leave without warning, notice, or regard for players, fans, and the University for another more lucrative job worth more money" what would you think?
If you wear wearing Crimson you might be scared. If you were in any variation of Orange you would be giddy, and if you were in purple you would have crawfish boiling and the Keg tapped!
However you would be wrong and in total shock or complete euphoria depending on what color you were wearing. The Orange nation is in disbelief right now over the fact that Tennessee was just left after the honeymoon for another more attractive beach blonde bimbo from California.
Lane Kiffin “The Mouth of the South" has just accepted the head coaching job at the University of Southern California. That is not the worst part he is taking his Father long time NFL legend Monte Kiffin with him, along with Recruiting coordinator Ed Orgeron.
This may come as shock to most of those on Rocky Top, but to anyone who ever heard him speak it should come as no surprise. Lane Kiffin was all talk, no action, and enjoyed nothing more than to stir up the hornets’ nest anytime a chance arose. Most people in Tennessee believed he was putting them back on the map, but in reality he was making a laughing stock out of Rocky Top. Leaving them after only one year, a huge blowout bowl loss, and less than a month till signing day is merely his cherry on top.
It is impossible to predict what the fallout will be from this surprise to say the least. In Lanes initial press conference he said he came to Tennessee to win championships and recruit nationally. So what does his leaving after only one year and a 7-6 record mean?
Is he saying he can't win championships at Tennessee or that it can't be done? Has he left the program on the rise or in transition? What will the players think? How will they react to the new culture shock that will come from a new coach? How big is the smile on Phil Phulmer's face right now?
All these questions will be answered in time, but one thing is sure Tennessee AD Hamilton is on shaky ground after firing a legend and hiring a joke! If he were a smart man he would go for Gary Patterson, Chris Peterson, Troy Calhoun, or shoot for the moon with Gruden and Cohwer. No matter what his decision he had best act swift, smart and with Tennessee's best interest in mind something he has never done before.
So smile SEC the biggest jerk and butclown to grace or conference in quite some time just bailed out at the first hint of greener grass. Some are going to say he left to go to a better job, and although I do not think highly of Tennessee that will merely be propaganda. Lane Kiffin left because he is all talk and no action.
He left the SEC because it is too competitive, too strong, and too much for lil Lane to handle. He ran for the one horse show in the Pac-10 where it easier to recruit and to win. Lane Kiffin left Tennessee because he may be able to con young boys into playing for him, but he can't out coach grown men on the field.
Tennessee should count this as a blessing and hope that Lane did not do anything that can be proved in the NCAA court of law. We all know he bent the rules to put it mildly so the folks on Rocky Top should really be thankful tonight to be rid of a time-bomb. Then on the other hand it is never nice to be shunned for a prettier woman!

It had just started to turn chilly in Pasadena as the red and white confetti began to fall all around the stadium. The S-E-C, S-E-C chants had already been yelled and Rammer Jammer was in full swing when the excuses started.
One Texas fan looked at me and said, "If we had not lost Colt we would have won." First off No Texas you would not have won. Colt McCoy did not allow two Alabama running backs to rush for over 110 yards a piece.
Alabama would have won the game regardless as to who the Texas QB was even if Vince Young was behind center. The defense was too fast, too strong, and would not be denied.
Still none of that matters in the grand scheme of things. In the record books it will not say Alabama beat Texas without Colt. It will simply say Alabama 37-Texas 21, and the truth is no one feels sorry for Texas.
Sure people feel sorry for Colt McCoy and the players but no one believes Texas was robbed or feels sorry they lost the game. How many Texas fans cheered when Sam Bradford went down against BYU and then again against Texas? Almost all of them.
How many people in Norman are saying man I sure do wish Texas had been able to keep Colt healthy? How many people on the campus of USC which lost to Texas in '05 and lost Sanchez to the draft wish Texas had better luck?
Who in Boise is crying that Texas missed out on winning the championship? Do you think Ricky Stanzi is saying man he got hosed? How much sympathy are Christian Ponder and the FSU fan base sending the Longhorns way? Even Ft. Worth does not feel sorry for the Longhorn faithful.
The fact is that Texas lost because it did not properly prepare for the game. Cincinnati won with a backup quarterback during a four game stretch because it had prepared its backup. If Greg McElroy had gone down Alabama would have been fine because it has a running game. Take out Mark Ingram and Bama still rolls with Richardson and Upchurch. There is not one player on Alabama's team that could not have been replaced.
It is no one’s fault but Texas coaches that Texas lost the National Championship game and no one outside of the longhorn faithful feels sorry for a man making $5 million a year, just like no one would have felt sorry for Nick Saban had 'Bama lost.
So Texas quit wondering what if and deal with the reality that your Longhorns were not the best team in the country. That title belongs to the Alabama Crimson Tide. Roll Tide and here’s looking forward to a rematch in Arizona Alabama will be there will Texas?

How can anyone outside of Knoxville not be relishing in the debacle going on in Kiffinville. It is too sweet an opportunity not to shove in the face of the boys in Orange and Black. I mean if you talk smack it will eventually come back to bite you, but this is just too funny. Not only are these players coached by Kiffin and his staff, but they are from his first recruiting class. Two of whom are his prized recruits, of which he boasted so often about. We all know about the trash talk and everything like that so no sense in recapping it. Instead of prolonging this any further let's just jump right into the trash talk the top SEC rival coaches should be laying on Lane. Oh, just one question, Is there any truth to the rumor the jail is allowing them to where their orange jerseys instead of jumpsuits?Related posts
It is quite possible that at this very moment Daniel Moore is painting on a giant or should I say Mountain size canvas the final moments of Saturday’s game. However it never should have come to such a dramatic conclusion.
It has been obvious to Tide fans for a while now and it is becoming obvious to the nation that the red zone play calling of Alabama is flawed to put it lightly. Jim McElwain is a great offensive coordinator, but he has made some horrible decisions in the red zone as of late.
The most recent blunder in red zone play calling is the most inexcusable. Saturday Alabama had a second and two on the Tennessee four yard line. Instead of running Ingram, Upchurch, Richardson, or Grant all which average over five yards per carry, Alabama passed the ball.
It might have been different if it had been play action or a screen, but no it was two fades to Julio Jones. Why not run on second down or third down to at least get the first down inside the two yard line and then throw the ball?
It is becoming clear that this team is not an offensive juggernaut. Heck it might not even be stable threat, but the run game has been as good if not better than any in the country. Mark Ingram is quite possibly the best player in all college football, and Alabama refuses to utilize him when they need him most.
In the last three games Alabama has been in the red zone 10 times, and has only scored one touchdown. Alabama has been inside the five yard line for four of those 10 times and scored once. The lone score a Mark Ingram touchdown. Of those four possessions inside the five only five plays were run plays and one scored a touchdown.
Is the mentality that one man does not a team make hurting Alabama more than it is helping? People can sugar coat it all they want with talk about teamwork and team performance, but when it comes down to it Mark Ingram is the best player on this team. He is also the main reason Alabama is undefeated.
Are Nick Saban and Jim McElwain purposely not using in Ingram the red zone to hush the Heisman talk? Do they feel that Ingram scoring too much would be harmful to the team mentality? Or is there some other deep seated reason for blatantly avoiding sure fire touchdowns?
What other reason could there be for not running your best player in the red zone. This young man has been tackled for no gain or a loss less than 15 times this year on over 320 total touches. He has had one career fumble and it took four Tennessee players to pry that ball out of his hands.
No matter what one may think or feel there is something wrong in T-town, and it is in the offensive play calling. Julio Jones is a great talent, but he has been unreliable and spotty this year. Dropped passes, poor route running, and double coverage have made Julio ineffective all year long and receivers who originally stepped up have now fallen behind.
Greg McElroy is a game manager at this point in his career. He may develop into something more, but right now he is just not there. The only consistent threat on this team is the backfield. The O-line is fine and they produce as well, but these backs are fantastic.
If the University of Alabama does not fix its play calling inside the red zone and quick they are going to lose a game. If Saban and McElwain refuse to give the ball to Ingram for whatever reason there is still Richardson, Upchurch, and Grant. If this stubborn streak in the Alabama red zone play calling continues it will cost Bama a game and maybe much, much more.

(Disclaimer: This Article is meant for humor. After receiving tons of profanity based and ignorant comments, I want to make sure people understand that this is HUMOR!!! If you like it great if not oh well it is a game people. If you doubt anything I have said about the Vol nation and believe that my opinion's and shots towards them are unwarranted then just read some of the comments and you will see that they make my point for me.)
I will make no bones or mistakes about this article; it is 100 percent slanted and bias against Tennessee. I have respect for every team in the SEC except the Vols. I despise this team, and as any real Alabama fan will tell you, there are only two teams to root for: Alabama and whoever’s playing Tennessee.
I wasn't old enough to remember how much Bear despised this backwoods, ignorant, sister marrying, bunch of hillbilly buttholes. I don't remember exactly how Johnny Majors got shafted by Phil Fulmer, but I do remember that the very sight of this Fat [child born out of wedlock] made my blood boil.
I do remember this Stay Puff stunt double turning Alabama in to NCAA based on his ethics. Ethics!! This man stabbed his friend, boss, and mentor in the back while he was fighting for his life!!! Phil Fulmer is about as ethical as a Tobbacco Lobbyist. He turned Alabama and cooperated with the NCAA to avoid sanctions for similar infractions against Tennessee.
Ah, but all that is in the past, and Tennessee fired the arrogant and pompous Phil Fulmer to start a new. Tennessee went out and found a young, vibrant, intelligent, and rising coaching commodity in Lane Kiffin.
What a joke; this man has made Al Davis look like and competent professional businessman. If it were not for Papa Monte, Lane would be 1-4 and the Kiffin name would be a synonym for ignorance.
Lane has run his mouth and looked completely incompetent ever since he arrived in Tennessee. We all know about his catfight with Urban Myer. We all heard his comments about Alabama and Memphis.
He lost to UCLA and Auburn at home. These teams combined for eight wins last year. Sure, he beat Georgia like a steel drum, but really, Georgia is awful on defense.
His coaching staff is filled with recruiters. Ed Orgeron can recruit like it’s nobody's business but could not coach the Minnesota Vikings to a division three championship. His staff is blessed with one shining hope, Monte Kiffin.
I feel sorry for Monte to have his son drag his family's name through the mud. How ashamed and embarrassed he must feel to watch his son act like coaching is an MTV reality show.
Still, this week is about the teams, not the coaches. Tennessee has a good defense, which has the capability of causing Alabama some troubles, but on the other hand, their offense doesn’t stand a prayer against Alabama's D. This has all the makings of a blowout and one hell of a Rammer Jammer.
Eric Berry aside, this Tennessee team is filled with high school talent. I'm sure that it will win the division five Tennessee state championship, but it is not even to go bowling against SEC opponents.
Really this may not even be the best team in Tennessee, Middle Tennessee State and Vanderbilt could give them a run for their money. Memphis could whoop Tennessee on a neutral field.
Lane and his staff are pointing to the years ahead, which is slang for we stink!!! So expect Tennessee to shoot for the Moral Victory against Alabama this Saturday. We all know that Tennessee can stay within 14 points of Florida, so they must be good, right?
Too bad Arkansas and LSwho can do that as well and neither of them has a defense like Alabama's and Mark Ingram running the ball.
The thing I look forward to the most in this matchup of Andre the Giant Vs Nancy Pelosi is Mark Ingram and Eric Berry colliding. Eric stopped Tebow dead in his tracks, but Ben Tate sent him flying like a 747 on takeoff. It should be interesting to see what happens when he hits the Mark Ingram express.
In closing, I would once again like to offer no apology for any of the cruel things I have said about Tennessee. I wish Tennessee nothing but ill will and hope that good things avoid them at all cost. It is my deepest desire that they play their best game and lose 100-0.
I wonder if Nick Saban can make the Scarecrow cry? It was the Tin Man who didn't have a heart, so Lane must be the Scarecrow since he lacks a brain. Roll Tide and Rammer Jammer Bama fans and remember: I love (to Hate) Tennessee. It's in our blood.
